New Officers Announced for US National Committee for CIRED

Dan Sabin, Chair of the USNC for CIREDNew officers have been announced for the United States National Committee for CIRED. Dan Sabin of Schneider Electric has accepted the role of chair. Dan served the committee for the past ten years as acting secretary. John McDonald of GE Vernova will step down from his role as chair but will retain a role in committee leadership as Vice Chair. Mark McGranaghan of EPRI Europe will assume the role of Secretary. Mark served as Vice Chair of the CIRED USNC since 2009.

2022 CIRED Workshop in Porto, Portugal

The CIRED 2021 Advance Program is now available. Gain valuable insight as to what to expect from CIRED 2021 including exciting information on tutorials, round tables, technical visits, the opening forum, and the program schedule itself.

Conference papers were submitted by US authors to all six sessions of the CIRED event. Papers were focused on electric distribution network components, power quality, distribution operation & control, distributed energy resources (DER), distribution planning, distribution regulation, and innovative business models.
